GOC White Knight Corps Reviews Counter-Terror Operations in Kishtwar; Troops Commended for Precision Action

Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir: The General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), visited multiple locations in Kishtwar district to review the ongoing counter-terrorism operations being conducted in the hinterland.During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the region and took stock of recent developments related to counter-terror actions. The review focused on intelligence coordination, area domination measures, and sustained operations aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the district.The GOC commended the troops for their swift, precise, and intelligence-led operation that resulted in the elimination of three Pakistan-sponsored terrorists. Among those neutralised was a top commander of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), a proscribed terror outfit.Senior officers briefed the visiting commanders on the operational strategy adopted in the rugged and forested terrain of Kishtwar, highlighting the challenges posed by difficult geography and weather conditions. The leadership appreciated the seamless coordination between various units and agencies, which contributed to the success of the operation.The White Knight Corps has been actively engaged in counter-terror operations across the region, with a focus on intelligence-driven missions and sustained presence in vulnerable areas.
